Our client is seeking a Desktop Services Administrator who will be responsible for the development, implementation, administration and support software deployments through Enterprise Endpoint Management solution, group policy, and/or related technology.
Additional duties and tasks:

  • Develop, implement, and support enterprise Endpoint images through Enterprise Endpoint Management solution and native Microsoft tools.
  • Manage Enterprise Endpoint Security Software, Active Directory and Group Policy, Security Patching on Operating Systems and Third Party applications across all Endpoint devices
  • Lead peers and customers through detailed assessment and design process for Endpoint deployments.
  • Architect solutions focused on cost efficiency and performance optimization meeting the needs of the Enterprise, Identify new and creative opportunities that leverage technology to support additional business processes or function.
  • Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum formal education of Bachelor Degree is required
  • Minimum of seven years in configuration, assessment, design, administration and implementation of Endpoint Management solutions. Ivanti/LANDesk
    Management Console preferred but will consider any other similar product, (SCCM, Symantec Endpoint, KACE, Altiris, Zenworks, etc).
  • Expert knowledge of application packaging and deployments; building and maintaining corporate desktop/laptop images.
  • Expert knowledge of local system settings and Group Policy configuration for Windows 7/10/2008/2012.
  • Expert knowledge of Active Directory troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Expert knowledge in the deployment of security updates (Microsoft, Adobe, Java, etc.).
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
  • Ability to develop trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls, problems and support requests and documenting technical support of resolutions, processes and procedures.
Desired Criteria:
  • Knowledge and experience with Powershell scripting.
  • Knowledge and experience with application virtualization solutions such as Citrix App Layering.
  • Knowledge and experience with Citrix Xenapp (7.8 and up)
  • Administration- DDC, Director, StoreFront, PVS.
